I used to surf the Military beach in Manasquan alll the time before they dumped a feww million pounds of sand on the break totally destroying it a few years back, i live in s. jersey now and surf in the AC-OC area. Is the break at that beach back in buisness? I remeber the day i found out what was going on, the report was 6 feet, i drove down there (45 minutes) and ran up the public walk betweeen the houses at the end of the street expecting to see good sized and happy surf, i was stoked!! then i saw a 3foot thick pipe crossing the entire section across the beach, abd the jetties were entire covered. I was totally astounded and my brain kept telling me i was in the wrong place, when i wasnt. I sat on the beach and almost cried, becuase my beautiful break had disapeared. So whats up with it nowadays?

Wellllll, I will leak out that there are *some sandbars* in that area that *are* back in business.

Which ones will have to be discussed by private email.
