Once again WSD serves up the goods for ol markypoo.
Lazy day, pops and step-mom came down with new back patio set. Temps in the sunny mid to high 80s. BBQ'd *twice* today, ate like a sloppy pig. ;-O
Here's how it went down:
Skateboarded to boardwalk for surf check in beaming sunshine with just sneaks, shorts and a wifebeater. Sk8td around b-walk for 15 minutes hittin the ledges
1stLunch: 1/2 Ham and Capicola sub
Breakfast: B-hits at Sarge's crib topped off with a tall cold arizona orangeade <G>
Pops shows up
2nd lunch: Baked Beans w/ bacon 1 Hot dog 1 Hamburger
Hang w/ daughter for a spell
SURF: Waist to chest, offshore, little peelers, inconsistent. First day w/o gloves or hood. Hands were cold. Had 3 long set waves each with a fun lip smacker. The last one was a race down the line to beat the section and blew a floater leaning too far out and bailing.
shower / 20 minute power nap
Dinner: 1 Turkey Burger 1 Hamburger 1 Hot Dog
Watched video 'down in the dungeon' with some friends for the ceremonial after-BBQ hog-leg.
Desert: LARGE bowl of vanilla/chocolate ice cream<G>
All this spent within the perfect, most relaxing weather conditions I've felt in sooo long. Everyone seemed like they were on 'X' or something. LOL An almost transcendent day in many ways today, almost surreal.
