WSD 2003 soon?

I remember something about one of two WSD dates being at the end of November. I don't remember the details, but as Themos bearer I figured I should pay attention.

At a glance, AS seems healthier now; not too much traffic, real contributions, less trolls and flames. That's nice to see.

Surf content- I spent the other weekend in St. Augustine, Fl. The Surf was VAS, 8'+ with 30kt onshores. I didn't paddle out, but it was fun sitting on the beach and breathing the salt spray.

Florida's gulf coast season should be starting soon. My home spot has one more winter before another beach replinishment fills in the point. I hope to savor the long rides while I can.

The Saturday after the fourth Thursday in November.

Thusly, this year, fall WSD 2003 falls on Saturday November 29th. This day is also, in the USA, always the Saturday after that famously parochial holiday, Thanksgiving.

Awww, at last we have a WSD at a time unlikely yo be flat in the UK and I'm out of the country! Will just have to post a snow report!
