Hi, I brought a second hand 7ft custom lost board shaped by EF in Dubai, I have noticed that when you look down the board there is a distinct warp in it, where the nose and bottom have twisted to the right. Why is this likely to have happened, and is there anything I can do to restraighten it. - or indeed will it handle funny in the water, with one rail about 1/2 an inch above the other when the tail fins are held flat.

If you could reply to my hotmail account that would be great as I can rarely check this group.

Cheers

That board has been surfed in too many right breaks. Make sure you surf it only to the left for the first year or so, checking it every night to make sure you don't warp it too far to the left.

...or you could just let a goofy footer adjust it over the winter.

If it was a custom board you swindled by a shaper who doesnt give a RatzAzz about you.

If you bought it off the racks, then .....I dont know what to say there... your fault, the shops fault, fault all around,etc....

if its a used board that you bought, then its warped because it was shaped, then sat around during a very dry Hot few days

My sympathies amigo, but the prior owner was on the 'Warped Tour' and that is simply one of the consequences.
