I was just leaving home this morning for a press check in Severn Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. The phone rang and it was the production manager of the printing plant.

'Mr.Foondoggy, I'm sorry to say we won't be able to run the job today.' 'Really Jeff? Why not? Press breakdown?' 'Well it seems three quarters of my day shift have called in sick, and not one pressman will be at work today.' 'No foolin? I guess your plant's been hit hard with that Ravens flu that swept the area this weekend? How 'bout tomorrow?' 'Well no. There's going to be a big parade at the Inner Harbor tomorrow and my guys will probably be too sick to work then. How 'bout if I transfer your job to our other plant in Beltsville, Maryland?' 'Would that help Jeff?' 'Sure would Mr.Foondoggy, they're all Redskins fans.'

did anybody else notice how unsportsman-like the Giants team was acting? Geez, everytime a play ended, there was pushing and shoving, and from what I saw, it was started, or escalated by the NY team. being there first hand, I can say that the celebration was surprisingly good-natured. Immediately following the game, I glanced around the crowd at my bar, and half of them were dancing on tables or the bar, and the other half was piling out into the streets, but there were no reports of violence, etc... (some fights in another part of town, but that's the worst I heard). We had a table reduced to splinters from the dancers, and a hole accidentally punched in the ceiling by Yours Truly on a particularly exciting play, but that was it. As we watched the patrons pile into the streets, dancing, etc... I glanced at my partner as if to say 'should we even worry about trying to stop it?', and he glanced back, 'nope. not tonight'.
