Todd and I hit Narragansett Town Beach today, the same place we first surfed as ASers last year:

The waves were a bit bigger this time, about waist high on the sets. the shape was a bit bumpy, and didn't have the wedging tube seen here:
http://www.senate.gov/~chafee/environment.html Senator Linc, where IS that beast? I promise I won't tell anyone! ;^) The water was clear enough I could see my booties while sitting on my board and felt more bracing than numbing. The sky was cloudless all afternoon, so it was a great day to be out enjoying nature.
It had been too long out of the water for both of us, and I had a couple of Waikooki moments. He had an earplug in his 'sensitive' ear, and I was wearing a squid lid so when we talked, we were like a couple of grizzled graybeards on the loose from the retirement home: 'Heh? Eh? Say what?' Todd and I each got a few good ones, and he got one from the outside all the way in to the beach. I saw the last part of the ride, and he was so stoked I'd say he was THE MOST STOKED SURFER in all surfdom at that moment. Even without my bifocals and wearing a hood, I could tell how stoked he was.
Thanks for being The Stokemaster, Todd!
