If you are not living in California most chances are that the summer is some kind of a dry season.
It is extremely so in the UK and other Europeans and Mediterranean states as there are no storms and the winds are rarely big enough for a good surf.
Surfgirl reports really small waves even on the good days and I know others around the world with the same problem. Good thing we have better conditions out here.
