Hey all,

I am looking for information about surfing in the Turks and Caicos island region. It looks to be in a good spot; however, there seems to be a thin amount of information available.

Who's got some info for me?

URL's, experience, books, rumors, whatever!

Feed my head................

Thanks,

-Sammy

P.S. If this Hurricane season gets any lamer I'm going to spontaneously combust

Yeah there is surf there. I have a good friend who's wife goes every year for research purposes and spends about a month (I'll find out what island tomorrow). He surfed there once on a borrowed board and said it was a bit shallow (insert grin). From the sounds of it there is a constant trade-wind swell during the summer, with the breaks comprised primarily of reef breaks (wow go figure). Sorry I can't get into more detail, if you can wait a couple of weeks until he gets back from the middle of the Gulf I'll ask him for some more detailed info.

Andy P.S. plan on NOT renting a board, fer-sure.

Did you ever figure out where the sur spots are off Provodenciales? I am headed down in December for a month and I'm bringing some boards with me.
Thanks
Dan
