I'll take the heat for that. My candidate will be a no show I'm guessing. My offline cajoling has come to naught. He seems to have forgotten about Team Wanker. From my archive:

there is a month and a half to go. the nominations for this year are weak. some of the usual contenders didn't even show. at this point, its anybodys race.
lp - i watched cnn last night where they explained string theory in under 3 minutes. now i know it well.

The nominations haven't opened yet, but in spite of the dearth of kukdom this season, the battle for the title will be hotly contested. Watch out for Lemming, he's got corporate backing this year, with the raw salt and raw milk lobbyists contributing big time to his candidacy.
