This morning I had to be in Sebastian so I brought my board.
Drove north on A1A and as you go up the bridge over the inlet
you slow down to check out the surf. Damn small but wind offshore.
Another beautiful day with warm water and nice weather, in the low 80s.
Get the board walk to the beach and there are about 6 girls on wave skis
on the third peak so I paddle out to the first peak.
I'm callin it waste high but the nice wedge bouncing off the jetty allows
you to get some nice tubes on the takeoff.
Start talking to a couple the guys at the peak. They recommend camping
at Long Point Park a mile up the road. So I think this weekend I'm gonna take
my 7 year old daughter surfing there- the size is perfect for her.
Caught about 35 waves and then the wind turns on shore.
Once again just like yesterday I get out of the water due to boredom, not exhaustion,
But hey I'm not complaining I could be in Chicago
