New is subjective, what is your definition.

I'm pretty new at it and can shape you a board, but my workmanship is not guaranteed.

soapbox to rant

New shapers are always looking for people to practice on.....KEYWORD practice.

The good news is that you'll either * help the neophyte shapers that they should find another line of work or * discover tomorrow's genius.

Either way, we'll all appreciate your help. Heck, I'll even help pull the arrows out of your back.
