It wasn't bad despite the howling 35kt. NW (off-sideshore) wind at Pt. Judith. The tide was too high and there was a big chop on the waves, but head-high sets were coming in every 5 minutes or so. The drop was tough with all the wind and all that water, I ended up sitting a little inside and making some late drops at the expense of getting mowed a few times by the bigger sets. Got a handful of fun rides. Only 3 - 4 people out at any one time. It was really warm, must have been 40F degrees, with nice warm sunshine. Water still down around 40F as well, but when the air is so warm it really helps.

On the way home I swung by Town Beach and it was one of those rare occasions where it was lining up pretty nicely instead of closing out. Chest-high and peeling and a lot cleaner than the point. I had one of my funnest sessions of the past year or so at the beach when it was like that

Like, mondo stokable report as usual. Speaking of temperature, since you mention it, it was really cold here today, around 65F, you know, okay?

Thanks Surf Dope, I don't post reports much but if it's a good session and waves are chest-high or better I try to throw something out there.
