For those who may be interested I've posted a link to some pictures of a trip to one of the Canaray Islands we did last year.

The south spots are the best but the locals are really heavy - so we didn't go there that often.

Have a look.

The brown water shots are from a break on the east coast of the UK - near Scarborough , N.Yorks

Great work Andy. That right hander at Fuerteventura looks EPIC and that 'Secret Spot' wave looks pretty friggin thick... The UK, eh? Are those disposable camera shots?

Btw, new pages I added to my site this morning- http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/087.html http://www.wavelust.com/bsl/086.html

Good surfing to you,

Nice pix, thanks. The lighting in the south Fuertaventua shots is amazing and the wave looks incredible. How come there's no one else out? How nice!

Bud you did it again. Great pix. I especially like the one of your brother throwing a little fan off this one:

Lobos is a small island off the North Coast of Fuerteventura accessible by private boat or ferry from Corralejo. Alvin D. rates it as his 2nd favorite wave next to Sanur in Bali. The point is world class and not a secret so I don't mind posting this publically. The setup is amazing and rumor has it there are other waves to be had on the island. Camping is allowed with permit.

Oh gee then it must be truly world class! Since when is Alvin D. the resident expert on good waves? Wasn't he pimping a travel co. or a shark pod up until he started his daily pimping of Bali in his surf reports?

He's been reporting from Lanzarote quite a few times. Los Lobos is only a few hours away. You can see it break from both Fuerteventura and Lanzarote when it's big. It's a right, 400 meters long when it's good.

How's that for world class?

-H(Never surfed there, only surfed rocky point on Fuerteventura.(and not very well))

Yeah, I know Alvin has been reporting from Lanzarote as well as Bali and Fla. (even from RI where I live, when he was vacationing here, and couldn't find the 'dakka'. I was just annoyed at the time.

400 meters long is pretty damn good. I'm more than happy with 100 yds. at the best point breaks around here.
