Thanks Mike. The surfer was Shane Dorian and he was making it look so easy. This peak was more at the 'left at inside Pipeline' rather than Backdoor, if you know what I mean.

I have some video of him taking off deeper than anything you would imagine. Backdoor's backdoor. Got shut down hard too. Just keeps going back for more looks like.

I like this shot-the beginning of the drop. My other favorite is the guy pigdogging with wave standing up straight behing him. And that blue warm water... I'm used to cold brownish, greenish, greyish, can't see my feet water. Lucky dog you are Neal.

Penalties... hmmm. Did not go over the falls or anything like that. However, I was hunting for some small ones on the inside and got in the way of some of the surf photographers. They are a feisty bunch when it comes to people getting in the way, and what they saw was a paddling glove weilding, zinc oxide face, disposable water camera carrying sponger in their face. I actually ran over a couple of them trying to pop out the back. Such is life in the impact zone.

Oops! I meant this was the 'right at inside Pipeline.'

Will do. As a matter of fact, I tried a 9'0' gun a couple of days ago at small small Pinballs. I give total respect to any gun rider.
