Strange, I remember back when VMLXD first moved to Point Dume and posted some diatribes about being hassled there that were passionate enough that he even garnered a fair bit of A.S. support for a demonstration of solidarity (alt.surfers mob the point to teach the locals a lesson kind of thing)... so what's the deal, that guy get replaced by a Pod Person who spouts things like 'go back to the valley,' or is it something that gets put in the water once you get beyond the gate?

Too funny....I totally overlooked your 'Pod Person' description the first time I read the reply, and was gonna make my own reference to the 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers,' but when I read your reply again, I saw you already did it. Oh hell, let me do it anyway. I was gonna say:

They do have kelp or seaweed there, don't they? If not, I'll have to come up with some other explanation.
