The ice is slowly dissapating after a brutal winter. Nevertheless, we still have ice shelves along much of the Great Lakes shoreline. A few guys were out at the south end of Lake Mich today and reported some slush boulders in the lineup, 2-4 ft and very clean. Away from shore it is mostly open now. The boulders were not dangerous, just the air temp: 14F. Anyway, here are more accurate ice reports: Eastern Lakes:
