Jumped in at Diamond Head on a dying south, reinforced by a small tradewind swell. Surf was about head-high; some bigger, some smaller. Since I had to run around town, I sponged it in the semi-blown conditions.

Nothing really stood out about the session. The crowd wasn't bad at all, with all the familiar lineup faces. It was just a nice go-out on an average day.

'Just a nice go-out on an average day.' OK. Thanks and I am drooling. Too often quality like this goes unanswered on alt.surfing. Fantastic post. Don't take your 'average days' for granted. ck

I don't take surfs for granted. I think that guy in the pic was a little grom because the it was just a bit overhead for me. Sometimes pictures make the surf look better than it really was.
