Decided to go out despite my body aching. Surf was much smaller then the days before and breaking much closer to shore. Big, clean, fast closeouts, no long rides, just big drops. Tried to pull into a few tubular closeouts without any success, but it was fun nonetheless. The swell decreased minute for minute and in the end I just went from peak to peak until I found one that offered some fun rides and got a few waves there until dark.

Although my body doesn't quite agree, the last days have been good.

It's been a month and a half since you posted that message about the numbness and tingling. Has it been getting any better? Did you take two weeks off? Got any advice on this?

Today I'm going to end my one-week fast from surfing, prompted by my rotator cuff tendonitis. I'm going to try to do most of my paddling with my left arm, and try not to raise my right above my shoulder. Vågorna är inte så stör, så känske det skall fungera!

Thanks for the info, Håvard. I think mine might be getting a little better. My current formula, which I follow even if the shoulder isn't hurting:

3 Advil before surfing session, 1 after Ice packs after Glucosamine and Chondroitin daily (not convinced it will work, but I'll try anything) Rotator cuff exercises

Min hufsad snygga fru är svensk.
