surfboard on a flight There are some things that can be done. First find out if the airlines that fly to your destination accept surfboards. Most charter flights would accept surfboards for additional fee, usually no too large. Some standard airlines such as British Airways refuses surfboards altogether, if you want to help change this policy sign the petition now. Just remember to check in advance the airline policy or else you may find yourself in a lot of trouble.
