After dinner we sat on the big leather love seat reading and listening to some jazz music as is our custom at Casa Foondoggy. I was deeply into the Surfer's Journal article on Ken Bradshaw and MrsFoon was looking at the 'Oscar Fashions' issue of People. On her own time MrsFoon likes to put her brownish/blondish shoulder-length hair in a ponytail, held by one of those elastic hair band thingies. It has become my devilish custom to mess with this thing and sometimes pop her ponytial out. Last night was no exception:

'Stop it you creep.' 'What?' 'You know what! Messin' with my hair.' 'But I love your hair.' 'I know but just stop it, it annoys me.' 'It does?' 'You know it does moron, we have this conversation every NIGHT!' 'Oh....It annoys you tonight, or every night?' 'Just stop it.....now....before I smack your hand.' 'You know the Guidopalooza2001 is heating up in the newsgroup.' 'Really? Are you planning on going to that this year, again?' 'Well yeah, didn't you mention wanting to come?' 'Yeah, but that's before I got this assignment to go to Berlin and Munich almost during Octoberfest. Doesn't that sound like fun?' 'Well, yeah, but given the choice I'd rather surf.' 'Suit yourself, I'm going to Germany. STOP IT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!' 'You know there's some new guys talking about showing up this year. A couple guys from Texas, one from Florida, and another one from Ohio.' 'That's nice, Texas and Ohio huh? Not much surf there. 'Yeah, we're going international with the Guidopalooza.' 'Uh, Foon..Texas and Ohio are in the U.S.' 'Yeah, well we're not sure what planet these guys are from.' 'Very funny....STOP IT!! STOP IT!! STOP IT!! STOP IT!!!!!! How many times do I have to tell you to stop it!!!' 'Awww honey, I'm just messin' with ya.' 'Look, if you touch me one more time, I WILL KILL YOU WITH MY HAIR BANDS.' ????????????????? 'Ya know, you might like one of these guys from Texas.'

However, I still maintain that there's a 70% chance that I will show up. I'm also aware that the only way to prove that I'm not bsing is to show up. Plain and simple.

i already broke the ice with mrs. surfgeo, i WILL be there. period. no ifs, ands, or butts. got the plane ticket sitting in my office as we speak. i just need the word and my room/bed/tent space deposit is on its way!
