The surf has finally picked up down here on the Gold Coast in Australia. It is normally 3-4ft or 4-6ft on other beaches but today at the beaches that were 3-4ft normally, it was 12-16ft! There is a large storm which made it choppy and bad but today the wind died down and the swell stayed up. Don't you love it when the waves get good at your local break?

ummm, yes....It was as good as it gets at head to head-plus here in Cali...absolute perfection...mirror glass all day...every drop of H20 in place...spinning barrels...80 deg air temps...scent of orange blossoms in the air......ahhh, the 'good land'.
