Hi guys,

I been looking into flights to Bali and found this score
http://www.airntour.com/

BALI PROMOTION - $1140.00 Includes 5 night accomodation at a 5 star hotel, daily breakfast, airport transfer, and a full day tour. Includes roundtrip air ticket via Singapore Airlines from JFK, LAX or SFO

I called the place and talked to them. Unfortunately I am flying out of

Orlando so she suggested I look locally. I found 7 nights 5 star hotel, tr air,

2 full day tours, one half day tour, full american brwakfast each day is $1600

from Orlando.

Anybody know anything cheaper from Orlando?

We are going to go there for one week for spring break (The east side is happending then with right handers) and then

for 3 months June July August. What we are going to do on the summer trip is to

get the hotel package for one week and then use that time to look for a cheaper place to

stay long term. It is nice to stay at a 5 star to acclimate and then go from there.

I am *not* taking my boards because what I have here in FL would not suit,

even if I did it is not worth the cost. All my friends tell me it is pretty

easy to rent or buy boards in Bali.

Anyone know about renting and buying boards in bali?

All the best,

Alvin www.jupiterislandinvestments.com

Includes 5 night accomodation at a 5 star hotel,

That seems pretty good. I flew to bali from Boston (Bos>NY>Frankfurt>Singapore>Denspasar)in september on SingaporeAir. I think the flight alone was around 1100. You could probably get to New York from Orlando for less than 200/person.

Rentals are total trash. They are much better if you rent from the surf shops around poppies than if you rent on the beach, but still..... The boards for sale seemed very expensive.

I am sure you aware of the troubles in indo right now. And, I'm sure you also know that Bali seems to be isolated from allot of these problems. But still, 3 months does give you time to get into trouble....

I was in Bali just a couple of weeks ago and yes the hire/rental boars are garbage.

If you are looking at buying a board in Bali the price is going to be about $450 to $500US, at least that's the prices I noticed anyway.
